T-ara sets a new record in Japan by grabbing the #1 spot on Oricon's weekly charts.
T-ara's Japanese single 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' got it right from the very start by selling 20,068 copies on its first day. It might have fell down on the 2nd spot for two consecutive days but after grabbing the #1 spot again on their fourth day there was no turning back leading them to #1 spot on Japan's Oricon's weekly charts
Japanese journalists published, "T-ara's 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' placing number one on the daily charts on it's release day and on the weekly singles charts on it's debut week is a first for a foreign group and an international female artist ever in history."
T-ara expressed their gratitude by saying, "Hello, this is T-ara! Our debut single 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' ranked one on Oricon because of your support! We're very very thankful! Sincerely, thank you so much! We hope we can continue to be loved in the future and please continue to support T-ara! Thank you!"
